Flutes

Relâche Ensemble flutist since 1998, Michele Kelly has also served as the ensemble’s co-Artistic Director since 2004. She appears on the group’s four most recent recordings: Press Play, Eight Point Turn, Kyle Gann's The Planets, and Comix Trips.

Lloyd Shorter

Oboe / English Horn

Lloyd Shorter has been with Relâche since 1990, with worldwide performances including Prague, Berlin, Vienna, Warsaw, Cracow, Amsterdam, Vilnius, Caracas, Seattle, Phoenix and New York City. Since 2003, he has served as co-Artistic Director.

Amy Leonard

Viola

Versatile and inquisitive, Philadelphia native and Relache violist Amy Leonard also performs regularly with the Delaware Symphony Orchestra and the baroque ensembles Tempesta di Mare and Brandywine Baroque, and can often be found performing with most of the region’s modern and historically-informed performing organizations.

Ron Stabinsky

Piano

Ron Stabinsky has been a member of Relâche since 2017, and enjoys working in many stylistically diverse musical contexts  throughout the United States and Europe with a wide variety of other musicians and ensembles.

Sean Bailey

Clarinet/Saxophone

Sean Bailey is a member of the Philly POPS Big Band and a regular clarinet soloist with Terell Stafford's Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia.

Ray Bohn

Bass

Ray Bohn (bass) is Principal bass with the Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra (NY) and completes the section of the Reading Symphony (PA). He began musical studies on trumpet at the age of seven and added the contrabass to his interests at age twelve.
